Samantha Perez, an artist from Mississauga, Ontario who loves to experiment with different genres of photography. she loves the timeless nature of photography and wants to capture fleeting moments as pieces of art while they are still around. at present, she loves capturing beauty and editorial images, as well as the precious moments at weddings and events. she strives to photograph people in a way where they see themselves as a beautiful artwork. this is often a different perspective for her subjects as she believes that people are their own worst critics, and oftentimes fail to see the special things about themselves.
"When I'm not behind the camera I'm traveling, reading, finding a new matcha spot, and rewatching gilmore girls for the 100th time. for me, my photography has always been about the people. whether that's forming a connection and collaborating or capturing your special moments. just being part of something big and significant is everything I'm passionate about."
